A smarter clean with PrecisionWash®
With Bosch PrecisionWash®, simply start your dishwasher and walk away. Intelligent sensors continually scan and check the progress of dishes throughout the cycle, and powerful, precision spray arms go to work targeting every item of every load. So when your dishes are done, so are you.

Matthew S –
Fantastic dishwasher, super sturdy and well-built. I was really happy with it for about a month, but then I got hit with Error E31-00 on the 26th run (it’s the leak protection system, which is good—it shut the machine off). Still, I was bummed it broke down so soon. I always heard Bosch dishwashers last forever without problems, so I expected more, especially for the price. Now I’m stuck waiting for a service tech to come out and fix it. If they sort this out, it’d easily be a 4.5-star rating from me.

Our dishwasher space is limited because of the way our flooring was installed, so we had to go with an ADA-compliant model. Even though it’s shorter, it doesn’t sacrifice on capacity. It fits a ton and cleans really well. I don’t usually use the Crystal Dry feature since there’s not much water left after a normal cycle, but it’s good to have the option. The only downside is that the third rack doesn’t get silverware as spotless as the basket does. Most of the time, it’s almost perfect, but sometimes you’ll see a few bits left. It makes sense since the top uses a sprinkler nozzle instead of a spray arm. I noticed that angling spoon faces towards the middle helps a bit. I still prefer the third rack since it frees up more space in the bottom for other items. Overall, this model might not be the most cutting-edge or efficient (aside from Crystal Dry), but it’s reliable and seems built to last.

I’m really liking the new Bosch dishwasher. It’s super quiet and user-friendly. It dries dishes well without overheating or melting any plastic items. Plus, it’s connected to Wi-Fi, so I get a notification when the cycle is done.
Belle –
I love how quiet it is, but I can’t stand the silverware basket—it takes up way too much room.
HBG89 –
It’s simple to use, super efficient, and does a great job cleaning. The app connection is a nice bonus!
SonicPL79 –
We’ve used the express cycle twice since we don’t have a lot to wash right now. It cleans and dries perfectly, and there’s no musty smell when it’s done.

I recently picked up the Bosch SGX78C55UC dishwasher, and wow, it has completely transformed my kitchen routine. From its sleek look to its top-notch performance, this dishwasher has far exceeded what I expected.
One of the biggest highlights is how well it cleans. Even the toughest stains and grease come off effortlessly, leaving my dishes spotless after each cycle. Whether I need a quick rinse or a thorough clean for heavily soiled items, the various settings have me covered.
What really sets this dishwasher apart is how quiet it is. I can run it any time of day without worrying about disrupting the peace at home. Whether I’m hosting friends or just winding down, it’s so quiet I sometimes forget it’s even on.
It’s also incredibly energy-efficient. I get sparkling clean dishes while using less water and energy, which is great for both the environment and my wallet over time.
The design is another win. The Bosch dishwasher has a modern, stylish look that fits perfectly into my kitchen, and its sturdy build gives me confidence that it’ll last for years without compromising on style.
All in all, I highly recommend the Bosch SGX78C55UC dishwasher to anyone looking for an appliance that performs beautifully, runs quietly, and saves energy. Investing in it has made my kitchen experience so much easier and more enjoyable. It’s no wonder Bosch is a trusted name in home appliances.

We had to go with an ADA dishwasher because of height restrictions, and honestly, it’s the best one out there, no competition.
Wyatt76 –
After 18 years, our trusty Bosch dishwasher finally gave out. It never caused us any trouble all that time. We decided to upgrade to a new, high-end Bosch, but honestly, we’re kind of regretting it. The thing’s a nightmare to use. When it actually works, it’s great, but the whole setup process is just too complicated. We really miss the simplicity of the old one!
Owl89 –
It’s awesome having a dishwasher that gets the job done with just a quick scrape of the big stuff. I love being able to load the racks confidently and know the dishes will come out clean. Even though it’s not the biggest, it still holds quite a bit. The filter is super easy to access and clean. I usually crack the door a bit after the cycle to help with drying, but even without using the drying feature, the dishes dry pretty well when I run it at night before bed. The 3rd rack tends to stay a little damp, no matter what, but it’s still handy for smaller items. The normal cycle does take over two hours, almost double what my old dishwasher took, but honestly, the Bosch does a better job, and it’s worth the extra time since I don’t have to prep the dishes as much. Plus, it’s so quiet! Noise was never a big deal, but now, it’s so quiet I barely even notice it’s running.

It runs quietly and cleans great. We’re big fans of German brands since they tend to work better and last longer. With German products, you really need to read the instructions to get the best performance, but once you do, everything works smoothly. No complaints so far!
Lola –
It cleans perfectly and is super quiet.
Peyton –
This is by far the quietest dishwasher we’ve ever had—and we’ve been through quite a few! It cleans really well, though we’re still getting used to the racks.
Zach700 –
We’re really happy with this dishwasher so far! It cleans way better than the GE it replaced. It also looks a lot nicer, and the racks feel much sturdier too.
Blake –
Bosch really nailed it with this dishwasher. The silverware rack, the fine china container, and way more space than I ever imagined. I’ll always choose Bosch for my dishwashers from now on. Thanks for making such an awesome product!
DFL80 –
It’s super quiet and cleans dishes really well. I like the indicator light while it’s running, but it definitely needs one to show when it’s done. The racks don’t adjust, which is odd since lower-end dishwashers have that feature. I’m not sure why they removed it from the higher-end models. If I were to buy another Bosch dishwasher, I’d go with the 500 series, not the 800. The upgrade just wasn’t worth it.
Evan D –
This dishwasher does a good job washing the dishes, but it’s a bit tricky with the racks. If the middle rack is in the raised position, my glasses don’t fit. If the metal rack is down, my plates don’t fit. The prongs on the racks are too far apart, so the dishes rattle around. It’s really hard to load everything in a way that keeps the dishes and glasses stable.
Xavier P –
We have two Bosch dishwashers in our kitchen now. Before, we had two KitchenAid dishwashers, but one needed too many repairs, so we decided to switch them both out for Bosch. Overall, the Bosch does a better job, though the KitchenAids were only 7 years old. We didn’t go with the new KitchenAids because they weren’t recommended. My main complaints with the Bosch are that the silverware trays are a bit small and the overall loading isn’t as user-friendly as the KitchenAid racks were.
Nicolas –
We recently bought a new Bosch dishwasher to replace our old one (which we got before 2006). It’s so quiet, you wouldn’t even know it’s running unless you see the red light on the floor. The dishes come out sparkling clean! We’re really happy with our new dishwasher!
Ellie –
My husband calls me an appliance freak, and honestly, after hearing it for years, I’ve just accepted it. I’m all about appliances that are efficient and make life easier. This Bosch 800 series is a gorgeous dishwasher. I didn’t know it, but it actually connects to the internet, letting you start it, choose unique cycles, and even monitor it from your phone (my husband rolled his eyes when he found that out, but I swear I had no idea when I bought it ). It cleans really well with the normal or air cycle, which takes about two hours. But I’ve also used the 30-minute express cycle, and it cleans perfectly too! Since we use a lot of plastic Tupperware, I was looking for a dishwasher with good drying power, and this Bosch delivers! Everything, including the plastic, comes out dry every time. So, if you’re after a reliable dishwasher that washes and dries well with the bonus of online features, this is the one!
ALO79 –
This dishwasher is super quiet! You honestly don’t even know it’s on. I’m a big fan of Bosch products, but I was a bit disappointed by how small this one feels inside, and it doesn’t seem to clean as well as my old Bosch that I replaced. I definitely have to pre-clean my dishes, or they end up with marks on them.
Hammer80 –
We installed this dishwasher almost a month ago and use it daily. It’s the quietest one we’ve ever had (we’ve had Miele and KitchenAid before), and it cleans really well. However, there are three things Bosch could easily improve. First, during installation, our supply kit was missing a few items that were mentioned in the instructions. It was a bit of a hassle for me, but they were easy enough to get. Second, the water supply connection was an issue. I had to get a 3/8″ coupler to connect the standard 3/8″ water supply to the dishwasher intake. Third, the arrangement of the posts in the lower and middle racks could be better. It would make more sense to have the vertical-slanted posts all going in the same direction, rather than having them slanted to the left on one side and to the right on the other. Also, aligning these posts front-to-back would make it easier to stack dishes when the racks are full. Hope this feedback helps Bosch engineers!
Samantha –
I had a Bosch dishwasher before and absolutely loved it, but after 10 years, it needed to be replaced. This new design with the dish racks is really disappointing. I’m not a fan of the top rack for silverware—it’s just a waste of space and gets in the way of items on the top rack. The design of the “holders” on the racks doesn’t help either, making them practically useless. I get frustrated every time I load or unload the dishwasher. The only positive is that it does a great job cleaning the dishes.
Addison –
It’s so quiet! The dishes come out really clean, and I love the red light shining on the floor to let me know when the cycle is done.
Storm800 –
We’ve had the dishwasher for about a month now, and we couldn’t be more pleased. It cleans so well (I don’t even rinse the dishes, just scrape off the food) and is super quiet. The CrystalDry feature is a total game changer—plastic comes out dry! That said, you do need to load it properly, especially glasses and mugs, to make sure they’re angled slightly to avoid water pooling. I was surprised by how the rollers on the racks move. They work fine, but they don’t roll as smoothly or feel as sturdy as the LG we replaced. Overall, though, we’re very happy!
Austin –
We’ve had this dishwasher for a few months now, and so far it’s been great! Our home is small, and the kitchen shares space with the living area, so most of the time, we can’t even tell the dishwasher is running. The dishes come out spotless. We’re really happy with it! 🙂
