I love the upper third rack for silverware and other low-profile items. The tines on the racks are closely spaced, making it great for many thinner dishes, but thicker or high-edged items, as well as deeply curved bowls, can be a challenge to fit. Overall, it’s a fantastic value for the price, and I’m hopeful it proves to be as reliable in the long term.

Second, the “clean” indicator light has been removed from the panel. While it may be a power-saving change, it’s frustrating not to have an easy visual cue to know if someone in the household has already run the dishwasher. I really don’t want to have to check an app for that information. Bosch customer service confirmed that the light is absent in this model. Despite these drawbacks, the dishwasher remains very quiet and does an excellent job cleaning. Had this been my first Bosch, I might not have been as disappointed.
