The only downside was a peculiar burnt rubber odor during the first few weeks of use, though it appears to be fading now. Other than that, I’m thoroughly pleased with it. The third rack is incredibly practical!

We installed this model roughly two months ago, and it has been a great addition. Bosch’s method of using residual heat from the wash cycle to dry the dishes works remarkably well, eliminating any concerns about food or plastic touching a heating element. The app that sends status updates to my iPhone is intuitive and unobtrusive. Among our household appliances, the dishwasher is both the most affordable and the most frequently used. This is our third Bosch, thanks to moving into new homes, and we remain thoroughly satisfied with it.

My wife and I would easily award this dishwasher five stars for its exceptional cleaning performance. It surprises us by thoroughly cleaning even those dishes we thought would be too difficult. However, we still struggle a bit when it comes to loading it. While the specs claim it can accommodate a 16-piece place setting—and we don’t doubt that—we rarely use formal place settings. Our everyday microwave-safe bowls and reheatable containers don’t quite fit the design Bosch seems to cater to. Our previous dishwasher, a KitchenAid, was much better at handling a variety of oddly shaped items. Don’t get me wrong, we do manage to find spots for everything, but the Bosch’s tine arrangement holds noticeably less than our old model. We’d give it 3.5 stars for capacity, with the third rack boosting it from 3 to 3.5. As for noise, it’s so quiet we’d give it six stars if we could—sometimes, we can’t even tell it’s on.
When it comes to drying, we find it sufficient but not stellar. While glass, metal, and ceramic items come out dry, plastic pieces often remain damp. We’ve seen complaints about this and can understand them. One feature we wish it had is an indication when it enters the drying cycle. In Ohio, during the winter, we like to crack the door open to let the humidity into the room, but in the summer, we let it run through the full cycle.
As for Bosch Connect, since this is the only Bosch appliance we own, it doesn’t offer much utility. We didn’t have high expectations for it, though, and it didn’t exceed or fall short of them!

It runs flawlessly, and the app works wonderfully. I’m especially fond of the third rack and the adjustable features. However, no matter what, plastic items always come out wet, even when using the extra dry setting.

This dishwasher is impressively quiet and delivers excellent cleaning performance. Installation was simple, and for the price, it’s a fantastic option. The only drawback is the door—it feels lighter and less sturdy compared to our old Bosch. Nonetheless, it functions perfectly.

We are thoroughly impressed by how effectively this dishwasher cleans even the dirtiest dishes and casseroles! We’ve grown to love the top utensil rack and now much prefer it over a traditional utensil basket. As a bonus, it frees up more space in the bottom rack for dishes. Installation was seamless, and the unit fits perfectly under the counter next to the sink. It’s so quiet that the only indication it’s running is the sound of water draining!

Bosch appliances may come with a higher price tag, but their performance truly shines. The dishwasher operates with remarkable quietness and leaves my dishes impeccably clean. I’ve noticed a couple of drawbacks: occasionally, not all dishes are thoroughly dried (a simple wipe fixes this), and the design of the racks means I can fit fewer items compared to my old dishwasher. Neither of these issues is a deal breaker, though—they’re just points to consider. Overall, I’d definitely choose Bosch again, and once my other kitchen appliances need replacement, Bosch will be at the top of my list.

This machine is much easier to load compared to my previous Bosch model. The third shelf for cutlery is highly efficient, creating extra space for bowls and larger dishes. While it isn’t the quietest during operation, I prioritize its performance over noise.
