The dishes come out gleaming, even on Eco mode. Without a heating element, all items can safely be placed on both the top and bottom racks. However, I didn’t give it five stars because the old one failed due to a leaking tub—an unexpected issue for such a crucial component. While the new model comes with an oddly small silverware basket, I still liked it enough to buy the same one again. What higher praise could there be?

In my assessment, this unit is incredibly quiet and performs well, especially on the 60-minute quick wash cycle. However, its capacity is somewhat smaller than a full-sized model, which can make it challenging to fit all the dishes, pots, pans, and silverware for a typical family.

The front-facing light to indicate the dishwasher is running is a brilliant upgrade from older Bosch models, where I’ve accidentally opened the door mid-cycle due to its near-silent operation. My only complaints are that accessing the settings menu requires connecting the dishwasher to Wi-Fi, and turning the Wi-Fi off afterward is a bit tricky. Specifically, you need to enable the “remote start any time” option for the Wi-Fi shutdown control to become accessible, a detail that’s not mentioned in the manual.

This dishwasher does an excellent job cleaning dishes. However, we were disappointed to find that several features we expected are missing. There’s no indicator light to signal when the cycle is complete, no auto door opening for improved drying, and the delay start function doesn’t offer the flexibility of setting it anywhere between 1 and 24 hours.
