  1. Luke

I swapped out my old, lousy washer that barely worked after five years. This new Bosch one cleans really well, but it’s a bummer that my dishes come out wet.

  2. Anthony T

I’m really into it! It’s packed with awesome features, and the exterior is a breeze to wipe down.

  3. Echoz

Our old dishwasher was loud and terrible at cleaning. After some searching, we decided to go with a Bosch, and we’re so glad we did. The Bosch dishwasher is super quiet (seriously, you’ll need that little light to check if it’s even on). We were doubtful at first, but we tried putting in dirty pots we used to hand wash, and they came out spotless! Sure, we could’ve gone for a cheaper option, but the quiet operation and great performance of the Bosch 500 made it totally worth the cost.

  4. Isaiah

Awesome dishwasher, super simple to use.

  5. Adam

I’m beyond thrilled with my Bosch dishwasher! It cleans way better than any other one I’ve owned before. I’d totally recommend Bosch to anyone. When it’s time to buy another appliance, Bosch will be the first brand I check out.

The dishwasher looks amazing and has some really handy features, but it’s a tad expensive.

  7. Maya

    Works awesome, super quiet!

  8. Claire

I’m obsessed with my new dishwasher! It’s so quiet, you’d never know it’s on—except for that little red light on the floor!

  9. Leo

The dishwasher is okay. It cleans pretty well and dries decently, though not perfectly. The utensil basket is tiny, which is annoying. But the worst thing? The app. Seriously, who thought we needed an app for a dishwasher? It’s just frustrating. Want to use certain features like delayed start? You have to mess with the app. It’s baffling that this got approved. I’d suggest going for an older model or one without the app. If they left out the app nonsense, I’d give this 4 out of 5 stars.

  10. Kennedy

Super easy to use, and the app is pretty handy for letting you know when it’s finished!

  11. Allison

I would’ve given this 5 stars, but the user guide isn’t clear on where to put the rinse aid in the compartment! There are multiple holes, and I have no idea which one to use. I tried one, and it leaked right out below the dispenser; tried another, and some spilled out at the bottom. Plus, the installer left a part on the counter (my husband moved it), and now the kick plate under the door is loose on one side. There’s no info on how to fix it, and even the website doesn’t help with this. Pretty frustrating!

  12. Emmett

I just installed this dishwasher to replace a 15-year-old GE, and so far, it’s been great. It cleans and dries really well—everything comes out spotless. The only thing that doesn’t dry fully is plastic, but I haven’t tried rinse aid yet, which should help with that. The dish racks are awesome, and I love the silverware tray too. And best of all, this thing is super quiet—I can barely hear it running through a full cycle!

  13. RD-800

This dishwasher is quiet, super easy to use, and does a great job cleaning. The only downside is the design of the bottom tray—it’s set up in a way that makes stacking dishes tricky. Also, the utensil basket is way too small.

  14. Barrett

I finally have a quiet, reliable kitchen workhorse with the Bosch 500 series dishwasher!

  15. Camden J

Our old dishwasher had a slow leak after over 10 years, so we decided to replace it instead of repairing it. After doing some research on reliable appliances, Bosch kept coming up as one of the top brands. I found the 500 series to be one of the quietest dishwashers out there, so we ordered it. After watching a few installation videos, I installed it myself—and wow, the first test wash was SO quiet! The sound of water draining into the garbage disposal is louder than the dishwasher itself. Now we can run it after dinner and watch a movie without cranking the volume. Another awesome feature is the utensil rack at the top—no more utensil caddy taking up space on the bottom rack! My wife also loves how neatly the spoons, forks, knives, and chopsticks fit. So far, we’re really happy with our Bosch dishwasher!

  16. Au77

This dishwasher is so quiet that I can put my ear next to the door and not hear a thing. I wasn’t sure about the third rack at first, but now I absolutely love it. It’s super flexible and makes loading different items a breeze. The same goes for the lower racks—I can fit so much in there because everything is adjustable. The dishes come out spotless, and I even get a reminder when the rinse aid is running low.

  17. Max

I’ve had this dishwasher for two weeks, and it’s the quietest one I’ve ever owned. I can put my ear right next to it and can’t even tell it’s running. 10/10, I’d totally recommend it to anyone looking for a new Bosch dishwasher!

  18. OldHunter

We replaced our SHX99A15UC with this model, and while the noise ratings are similar (44dB for the SHX99A15UC, 38dB for this one), in practice, this unit lets a lot more water-hitting-pans noise escape. The motor’s quiet, but the sound insulation on the doors and case isn’t as good. The bottom rack tine layout is a total mess compared to the old model—we can’t figure out how to fit the same loads into the bottom rack. As for the WiFi, it’s pretty useless. I tried setting it up on a guest network, but I think it blocks some port the dishwasher needs, though I don’t really care for the feature anyway. Overall, I can’t recommend this model—it’s been a big letdown.

  19. Aria

This dishwasher is hands down the best one I’ve owned. It’s so quiet, you can’t even tell it’s running. When you set it to Crystal Dry, your crystalware comes out clean, spotless, and completely dry!

  20. Charles

We’ve had a bunch of dishwashers from different brands, all claiming to be quiet and efficient, but after talking with my wife’s friends, we realized we needed something even quieter. They all recommended Bosch, with one friend saying, “If the light wasn’t on, we wouldn’t know it was running.” Curious, I downloaded a decibel meter to check our current machine—it showed 38-43 dBs, but honestly, it didn’t feel that quiet. After looking at several models, we decided on the Bosch 500 series, since the 800 was a lot more expensive and didn’t offer features we really needed. We love the rack layout, especially the third rack at the top for flatware—it cleans better than the basket, in my opinion. The best part? It’s by far the quietest dishwasher we’ve ever owned. After testing with the same app, it showed at or below 28 dBs, which is incredibly quiet. Sometimes now, we even forget it’s running! Huge thanks to Bosch for making such a quiet machine. We’re really happy with our choice.

  21. Penelope

I never knew I could love a dishwasher so much! The three trays are awesome, and I really appreciate being able to start it with my phone. Plus, the option to customize the wash cycles is a game changer!

  22. Aero

My experience with this washer has been beyond satisfying! It’s a great, super quiet machine.

I’ve always been a Bosch fan but never bought their dishwasher until now, and I’m so glad I did! This model is by far the quietest machine I’ve ever owned. If it wasn’t for the light on the floor, I’d think it was off! The controls are super easy to use, and there are plenty of options. My dishes come out clean every time. I’m also loving the top third rack for small items and silverware—it’s a great feature!

  24. Os900

This is hands down the best dishwasher I’ve ever had. The third rack is awesome, though I wish it could be adjusted for more flexibility. It cleans the dishes really well and runs super quietly. The silverware basket could be bigger, but the third rack definitely helps with that. I’d definitely recommend it!

  25. XTC58

We’re loving our Bosch! We swapped out an old GE, and the quality and value in the Bosch really stand out. The dishes come out clean, and the third tray is awesome—way more space than our old one. Good thing it has a light, though, because I can’t hear it at all!

  26. Lev82

I love everything about this dishwasher—the layout, how well it cleans, the third rack, the auto-sense washing, and the fact that it’s programmable and connects to my smartphone. I’ve had two Bosch dishwashers before, so when the non-Bosch one in my current house stopped working, there was no question about what I’d replace it with. I went with the 500 series because it’s right in the middle of their models, giving me all the cleaning power and features of the higher-end models without the extras I didn’t need, and at a price close to the lower models.

  27. Jangle

Of all the dishwashers we have owned, this one stands apart as the finest. Its ability to cleanse even the most soiled pots and pans surpasses my highest expectations, and its spacious interior accommodates far more than our previous model. The third upper rack, designed for silverware, is a particular delight, and the machine operates with such remarkable silence that one scarcely notices it running.
Though I have yet to fully explore the Home Connect feature, I can see how it might prove useful—especially in a multi-story home where the kitchen lies at some distance. However, that is not our situation. My only regrets are twofold: despite advertisements declaring that all dishwashers in the 500 series share certain features, ours lacks both an adjustable middle rack and the AutoAir function. I had especially looked forward to the latter, which would have automatically opened the door at the cycle’s completion to facilitate drying. In its absence, the interior remains damp, compelling us to open the door manually and allow a few hours for the moisture to dissipate before unloading. Nevertheless, I remain thoroughly pleased with this appliance.

  28. Rebecca

For the past month, we have been using this dishwasher, a worthy successor to our previous Bosch, which served us impeccably for sixteen years. Initially, I had reservations about the upper cutlery rack, yet it has proven highly effective—every utensil emerges spotless. Moreover, this new model appears to offer greater capacity than its predecessor, accommodating more with ease. We are thoroughly satisfied!

  29. Hugo

These are, without question, the finest dishwashers I have ever owned. I was so impressed that I purchased one for each of my homes, and they have exceeded my expectations. Their near-silent operation is remarkable, and their cleaning performance is nothing short of exceptional. I couldn’t be more pleased!

  30. Eric

I was first introduced to Bosch dishwashers during a visit to my brother’s home, and from the moment I heard— or rather, barely heard— its whisper-quiet operation, I was utterly captivated. The seamless efficiency with which it cleaned the dishes left a lasting impression, and I knew I had to have one for myself.

  31. Wizzle

The dishwasher lives up precisely to the expectations set at the time of purchase. It operates with a pleasing quietness, and I find its smart features both convenient and well-designed.

  32. Calvin

This dishwasher truly upholds the esteemed Bosch reputation. Its performance is exceptional, though I do find one minor flaw—the items placed on the third, uppermost rack dry inconsistently. However, I greatly appreciate that plasticware can safely be placed on the bottom rack without risk of damage. We also discovered that utensils and tableware fit well in the top rack, rendering the small basket designed for the lower rack unnecessary. Since it holds little and tends to come loose, we opted to remove it entirely, freeing up valuable space for pots, pans, and larger dishes. A well-designed and highly efficient machine!

  33. Razz

Regrettably, this dishwasher is noticeably smaller than the Bosch I relied on for twelve years, and I often find myself wishing I had attempted to repair my old one instead. I truly miss the extra space. That said, the fingerprint-resistant finish is a nice touch, and though it took some adjustment, I’ve grown accustomed to the top silverware rack—it functions well. The machine’s quietness is astonishing; it runs so silently that I can hardly tell it’s on, making it an excellent choice for those with an open-concept home.
I’ve chosen not to use rinse aid after realizing we were inadvertently consuming it, which required us to rinse and dry dishes manually to remove any residue. Instead, I’m experimenting with Molly’s Suds, which boasts healthier ingredients—I can only hope it performs well. Overall, while this dishwasher operates beautifully and with impressive quietness, its reduced capacity remains a significant disappointment.

  34. Jasmine

At first, we found this dishwasher somewhat challenging to operate, but with time, we’ve become accustomed to its functions. While I generally appreciate new technology, the ability to control a dishwasher via smartphone seems entirely unnecessary—a gimmick rather than a practical feature. The control panel could be more intuitive, particularly when adjusting drying times, which is not as straightforward as it should be.

That said, its cleaning performance is outstanding, and its whisper-quiet operation is a definite highlight. The top silverware rack is a fantastic addition, and the sleek, modern design adds a touch of elegance to the kitchen.

  35. Fontaine

This is, without a doubt, the finest dishwasher I have ever owned. The addition of a third rack is a fantastic feature, though I do wish it were adjustable for greater versatility. Its cleaning performance is exceptional, and its near-silent operation is truly impressive. While the silverware basket could be more spacious, the third rack compensates well for this. Overall, I highly recommend it!

  36. Audrey

The dishwasher has a sleek, modern appearance, and I especially appreciate the fingerprint-resistant finish. Its whisper-quiet operation is truly impressive! I was eager to use the third rack, though it has taken some getting used to—occasionally, the silverware shifts out of place, requiring me to rearrange it. Compared to my 12-year-old Bosch, this model feels smaller, which is a bit of a letdown. However, given Bosch’s reputation for durability, I have high expectations for its longevity. So far, after just a couple of weeks, it’s proving to be a solid choice.

  37. Hailey

I never imagined I’d make use of the third drawer, yet it has quickly become indispensable—placing and retrieving silverware is effortless. The subtle red light on the floor is another feature I love; with the dishwasher operating so silently, it’s the only way to know it’s running. An excellent design!

  38. Daisy

I truly feel this was money well spent. The machine operates with remarkable quietness, and the loading capacity is excellent. The only minor hurdle was adjusting to the control buttons, but once familiar with them, the dishwasher proves to be an outstanding appliance.

  39. William

This dishwasher is exactly what I had hoped for—intelligent and whisper-quiet! I love the convenience of managing it through the app and checking its status with ease. An added bonus is that it fits perfectly into our smaller, European-style opening, a rare find among most dishwashers on the market.

  40. Vincent

I absolutely love everything about this dishwasher—the thoughtful layout, exceptional cleaning power, third rack, auto-sensing wash cycle, and smart connectivity. Having owned two Bosch dishwashers in the past, there was never a doubt about what brand I would choose when the non-Bosch unit in my current home failed. I opted for the 500 series, as it strikes the perfect balance between premium features and affordability. It delivers the top-tier cleaning performance and conveniences of Bosch’s higher-end models, without the extra bells and whistles I didn’t need, all at a price point closer to the lower-tier options.

  41. Chompy

This has been an excellent appliance—highly efficient and impressively quiet.

  42. Sam80

We absolutely love our Bosch! After replacing an older GE, it became clear that Bosch offers superior quality and value. The dishes come out spotless, the third rack is a fantastic addition, and it provides more space than our previous model. It’s so quiet that without the indicator light, we wouldn’t even know it’s running!

  43. Rafael

I’ve long been a fan of Bosch, but this is my first time owning one of their dishwashers—and I couldn’t be more pleased. This model is, without question, the quietest appliance I’ve ever had. Without the discreet floor light indicating it’s running, I’d assume it was off. The controls are intuitive, offering a variety of useful settings, and my dishes emerge spotless after every cycle. The third rack is another standout feature, perfect for silverware and small items. No regrets whatsoever!

  44. Quentin

Purchasing this dishwasher has proven to be an expensive misstep. It holds merely half the capacity of my old Kenmore, largely due to the perplexing layout of the tines. The front and back sections are oriented differently, making it frustrating to load oversized items like cutting boards and platters. If you use multiple boards throughout the day, as we do, they consume all the available space in the front half of the lower rack.

The lower rack itself is oddly configured—there’s only enough space to stand two bowls on their sides in the bottom left section, while elsewhere, they flop over, significantly reducing the available room for plates and other dishes. I expect a dishwasher to accommodate a variety of dinnerware, including cutting boards, multiple plate sizes, mugs, glasses, and larger utensils. This one simply does not.

The upper rack is slightly more functional, though primarily suited for glasses. Finding space for large utensils is a challenge. The silverware tray, while an interesting concept, is tedious to load properly—each piece must be carefully positioned to avoid them toppling over. I much prefer the simplicity of dropping a handful of silverware into a traditional basket. Speaking of which, the tiny silverware basket included here is nearly useless.

Worse still, I’ve yet to find room for an average-sized saucepan, as every cycle leaves me with a sink full of items that just wouldn’t fit. The cleaning performance is acceptable, though the interior door is consistently covered in dried water spots, regardless of whether I use rinse aid. My glasses remain clear, but my stainless steel silverware has begun to dull—something I never encountered before. Now, I find myself reaching for “The Pink Stuff” to restore their shine, which is an extra chore I don’t want.

On a positive note, it is impressively quiet—so much so that I barely notice it’s running. But silence alone isn’t enough to compensate for its frustrating shortcomings. Had I examined the interior layout more closely before purchasing, I would have walked away. Instead, I now find myself washing more dishes by hand than ever before simply because this machine cannot accommodate a full day’s worth of use.

  45. Glimmer

Owning this dishwasher has been an absolute delight! Its performance surpasses all expectations, and its near-silent operation is nothing short of remarkable.

  46. Claire

I never imagined a dishwasher could bring such satisfaction! I’m enamored with the three racks, the convenience of starting a cycle from my phone, and the ability to tailor each wash to my needs.
