Bosch automatic programmes automatically regulate the water temperature and rinse time during washing to suit the level of soiling and load volume. This means, with automatic programmes you only use as much water as needed for perfect results. The right wash for every load – all at the touch of a button.
Prevent leaks with AquaStop®
An advanced leak prevention and containment system, AquaStop® features sensors that automatically close the water inlet and activate the drain pump if a possible leak is detected-even if you re not at home.
The ultimate dry with CrystalDryâ„¢
At Bosch, we believe dishes should receive a powerful clean and then be thoroughly dry. Patented CrystalDry™ technology transforms moisture into heat up to 176 F to get dishes 60% drier,* so you can put away your plastic dishes immediately into the cupboard when the dishwasher is finished. *Based on aggregate average drying performance of Bosch Dishwashers with CrystalDry™ on combined household load including plastics, glass, steel, and porcelain as compared to Bosch Dishwashers with PureDry®. Drying performance may vary by dish type.

Grace M –
When our 17-year-old dishwasher finally gave out, we decided it was time for an upgrade. My son had been raving about Bosch ever since he moved into a place decked out with their appliances. We chose the 800 series because it checked all the boxes: super quiet, top-notch cleaning, crystal dry, hidden controls, and a sleek design. So far, it’s been a total game-changer—our dishes and cookware come out sparkling every time. Bosch has a solid rep for quality and durability, which is exactly what we look for in anything we buy. We don’t mind spending a little extra for something that’s built to last and gets the job done right.

This dishwasher is amazing! I’ve never owned one that gets *everything* this clean. I’ve loaded it with stainless steel pans covered in stuck-on egg, dried cheese, and all kinds of food residue—the kind of stuff you usually have to scrub before it even goes in. But nope, not with this machine. I haven’t pre-washed a single thing, and no matter what I throw at it, everything comes out spotless and squeaky clean. Even when I’ve tried to stump it, every dish, pot, pan, and glass comes out perfect. Some plastics come out a little damp, but never soaked. Totally worth every penny!
Dune55 –
My husband and I are total over-researchers when it comes to buying anything—it might drive some people nuts. After our usual deep dive and sticking to our budget, this dishwasher came out on top! We’ve had it for about two months now and run it almost five times a week. Here’s what we love: it’s insanely quiet, cleans like a pro, holds a ton of stuff, and has loads of wash options. Bonus—none of those weird smells some reviews mentioned. It’s a perfect mix of style and function. Just make sure you know the basics, like how to load it right and use the settings, but it’s not rocket science. Highly recommend!
Core80 –
Overall, we’re happy with our Bosch 800 Series Dishwasher. It cleans and dries our dishes really well, and it’s super quiet. Plus, it has a nice, sleek design. The only reason it’s getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s a bit tricky to load efficiently. Our 11-inch dinner plates take up a lot of space, and there’s not enough room to fit much else next to them. We also couldn’t use the top third shelf with our water bottles in the way, so we just took it out. Another issue is an odd burning rubber smell, which is a bit concerning, but we’re hoping it’ll go away after some use. Other than that, it’s been a solid machine so far! P.S. The red light that shines on the floor while it’s running is such a clever touch!

This is the third home we’ve remodeled, and we’ve always installed Bosch dishwashers. This newer model has great features, a ton of options, and it’s super quiet. The dishes dry beautifully too. But here’s the downside—it doesn’t clean as well as expected. We’ve tried different soaps, rinsing everything before loading, and nothing seems to get the dishes as clean as they should be. It’s pretty disappointing. I’ve reached out to Bosch and even contacted the store where we bought it, but I haven’t heard anything back. It seems like these days you have to choose between quiet and good cleaning. We never had this issue with the other Bosch dishwashers we’ve owned.

I had a basic GE dishwasher that was only 5 years old, but it just wasn’t getting the dishes clean. So, I started looking for a better option. A family member recommended the Bosch 800, and after checking out Consumer Reports and reading reviews online, I decided to go for it. I’m so glad I did! I’ve tried all kinds of cycles, from the full cycle to the quick one, and everything comes out spotless every time. I even tested it with dirty dishes that I let sit for a day, and still, everything came out perfectly clean—glassware to stainless steel, all sparkling. I use it every day now, and my hands are so much happier. I’ve recommended it to two friends and my sister-in-law, and they’re all thrilled with it too! If you need a new dishwasher, this is the one. Huge thanks to Bosch for making my life easier—a super happy mom of twins here!
Andrew –
I had to wait four months to get my dishwasher, but honestly, it was totally worth it. This is my third Bosch, and it’s super quiet, plus it has the Crystal Dry feature, which I love. The only issue I had was that this model is a bit deeper than my previous ones, so it didn’t fit properly. I had to bring in a pro handyman to take it out and tweak the toe kick on the other side of the cabinet to make sure it was secure. Now, I can open my silverware drawer without it hitting the control panel, which is awesome. The fix wasn’t cheap, but now it’s all set, and I’ll be enjoying my new dishwasher for years to come!
FRX84 –
We swapped out our KitchenAid for the Bosch 800 Series, and we couldn’t be happier with the decision. I installed it myself and was immediately impressed by the quality and attention to detail in the design. One feature I really liked was being able to adjust the back legs from the front—such a clever touch! My wife was particularly impressed with the interior racks and overall layout. When it’s running, it’s way quieter than our old dishwasher, and our glasses, dishes, and utensils come out feeling like they’ve been properly sanitized. We’re confident it’ll give us many years of reliable service.
Uncle Roy –
I used to swear by GE dishwashers, but the last one only lasted 3 years. A bunch of my friends had Bosch dishwashers and loved them, so I decided to look into it. Initially, I thought I wanted the 300 or 500 Series, but after reading about the CrystalDry feature on the 800 Series, I went with that. Bosch doesn’t have a heating element, so some people mentioned that things don’t always dry completely. I ran my first load using the Eco Wash and didn’t turn on CrystalDry, and the plastic glasses came out about 95% dry. On the next load, I used CrystalDry, and everything was fully dry. It’s so quiet, and the red light at the bottom of the door is a great way to know it’s running.
Glow DJ –
After a couple of months using this dishwasher, both my husband and I honestly wish we hadn’t bought it. Sure, it does a fantastic job cleaning the dishes, but the capacity is just way too small. We didn’t check the capacity before buying, and it’s not as deep as our previous dishwasher, so it doesn’t hold as many dishes. Plus, any tall glassware has to go in the bottom rack, even with the adjustable top cutlery drawer. I could go on with the complaints, and since my husband is really frustrated with the purchase, I’ve told him he doesn’t have to load the dishwasher anymore.
Anthony W94 –
I’ve had a few different dishwasher brands in the past, but the Bosch 800 series blows them all out of the water. It works amazingly well and is so quiet that I actually have to check under the unit to see if the red light is on, just to make sure it’s running. Every dish comes out sparkling clean, and the third shelf for silverware is honestly one of the smartest additions I’ve ever seen to a dishwasher. I can’t believe I survived so many years without such a great machine. While it’s not the cheapest option, it’s absolutely worth every penny. I’m planning to update the rest of my kitchen appliances this year, and I’ve already decided to go with the Bosch 800 series for all of them. This brand is definitely one you can trust.
Ezra M –
I recently remodeled my kitchen and replaced all the appliances, spending a lot of time researching the best dishwasher. Since my dishwasher is now in an open area on the island, I needed one that was super quiet so we could watch TV without any noise disruption. This one is so quiet, I can’t even hear it running! If it weren’t for the red light that shows up on the floor, I’d wonder if it was even on. Drying dishes properly was also a big priority for me, and this dishwasher does an amazing job at that too. I ended up spending more than I planned, but it was absolutely worth the extra cost. Highly recommend!
Thomas JR –
The Bosch 800 series dishwasher is by far the best I’ve had. I’ve owned several others, but this one beats them all. It’s so quiet that I’m grateful for the operating light that shines a dot on the floor, letting me know it’s working. It cleans and dries better than any other dishwasher I’ve used. Bosch made the installation a breeze with easy front leveling and simple connections at the back. Like all Bosch appliances, I’m confident this one will last for many years to come.
Mateo V –
Overall, we’re really happy with the dishwasher. Everything has been cleaned perfectly so far, and we load it up pretty full. A couple of things I’ve noticed, though: it’s not as quiet as I expected. I can hear it about as much as I could hear our old KitchenAid, which isn’t a dealbreaker, just worth mentioning. Also, I might be putting the rinse aid in the wrong spot, but when I added it, it leaked out from the bottom of the compartment. And of course, with stainless steel, there are fingerprints and smudges all over it, especially with our one-year-old who loves putting his hands all over it. Despite these little things, we still love it and think it deserves 5 stars.
Evelyn M –
I waited a couple of months before reviewing my new Bosch dishwasher because I wanted to make sure it was really living up to expectations. From the moment I started using it, I was blown away by how QUIET it is! But even more impressive, my husband was shocked by how sparkling clean our glasses and dishes came out. I honestly wanted to pull out every dish, glass, silverware, and pot from my cupboards just to wash them in the Bosch and make everything gleam. I’m also really happy with the design, both inside and out. I removed the utensil baskets because the top drawer works perfectly for us. And now that I’ve learned to group forks, spoons, and knives together, unloading is a breeze. I’m so glad I went with a Bosch when I replaced my old (non-Bosch) dishwasher!
Jackson H –
We are absolutely thrilled with our Bosch 800 Series dishwasher! It was easy to install, and it’s by far the quietest dishwasher we’ve ever had. The three shelves offer way more space and options than our old dishwasher. We’ve found that a quick pre-rinse and using the 60-minute cycle gets our full load perfectly clean. The red light on the floor is a handy feature—it lets us know when it’s running and when it’s finished. This dishwasher outperforms every one we’ve owned before. We highly recommend it with no hesitation. Now, two of our adult kids are proud Bosch owners too!
Grace M –
This is my first Bosch dishwasher and the first one with controls on top. It took a little getting used to, especially making sure I set everything correctly and checking for the red operating light on the floor. The pets are totally fascinated by the red light! Lol. I’m still figuring out the best way to arrange the racks. The top tray doesn’t really allow for tall glasses on the middle rack, so I might just remove it. You have to use the bottom rack for tall glasses. The utensil holder is on the side of the bottom rack, which makes it a bit tricky to quickly toss in last-minute utensils. It washes really well and is super quiet. So far, so good! Most dishwashers last about three years in my family, so I’m hoping this one lasts longer.
Daniel R –
What a relief! Finally, a dishwasher that actually does everything it’s supposed to, and you don’t have to wash or rinse your dishes before putting them in. We’ve been using this machine for a couple of months now, and everything has come out clean—no exceptions. I don’t put really baked-on food in, but there’s a setting that could probably handle that too. This is by far the best dishwasher I’ve ever had. My last GE Profile was awful, so I’m beyond happy with this one! I also love the handle—it’s fingerprint-proof, so you can open it without leaving smudges everywhere. I’m incredibly satisfied and a Bosch customer for life now!
Ngo –
I’ve only had the 800 series for a few days, but WOW, this thing really knows how to clean! The dishes come out squeaky clean and dry, thanks to the CrystalDry feature. Larger cups or ones with a little recess on the bottom might have a drop or two of water left, but they’re still clean and dry inside—nothing major to complain about. We were originally considering the 500 series, but after hearing some negative reviews about the drying (the pop-open door), we decided to go with the 800 series instead. If you can swing it, do yourself a favor and get the 800—it’s worth the extra cost. It does everything you want a dishwasher to do, and it does it really well. Very satisfied!
Nova 🌼 –
I really like my Bosch dishwasher. It’s been problem-free, the installation was a breeze (a friend helped with that), and I absolutely love it!
Carter H78 –
I’ve used a lot of dishwashers in my time, but this one is by far the worst. The design is just bad—it’s hard to fit frying pans inside because the “rows” are too narrow. And as for wine glasses, there’s no good place to put them—they just lean over and fall down. There’s no delicate wash setting, which is a huge issue since I have a lot of delicate, handmade dishes that need to be rinsed with warm water, not steamed. The third rack isn’t great either—I’d rather place large pots on the second rack, but they don’t fit. Plus, the third rack isn’t removable. I’ve only had it for two weeks, and I already can’t stand it. I’m replacing it and selling this one on Craigslist for way less than I paid.
