Jerry T –
I was obliged to acquire a hardwire kit and a spout to attach the inlet water hose, and I couldn’t help but wonder—what happened to simplicity? The Bosch Ascenta I replaced with this model was ready to be hardwired and effortlessly connected to the inlet hose straight out of the box. To my dismay, I discovered this newer unit lacked such straightforward readiness. Unlike the Ascenta, which served me well for a decade, this one required additional purchases for what ought to have been standard. In my opinion, the hardwire kit should be included, with the plug-in wire kit offered as an optional extra for those who need it. After all, the majority of dishwashers are designed to be hardwired. To make matters worse, I had to make a separate trip to procure the spout for the inlet hose, having not opted for the hose kit initially.
Gary M –
We recently replaced an aging Bosch dishwasher that had served us admirably until its repair costs neared the price of a new unit. While the cleaning performance of the replacement surpasses its predecessor, the drying system reveals a troubling lack of expertise in its design—a disappointing oversight for a product bearing the hallmark of German engineering. Moreover, the composite tub is another point of contention. Where the former unit boasted an entirely stainless-steel interior, this model features a mix of stainless steel and plastic. Given the option, I would gladly have paid a premium for a design reflecting the wisdom of a more seasoned engineer. As a former engineer for a German *Messtechnik* company, I find this a regrettable lapse in what is otherwise a commendable product.
Dean S –
It operates with remarkable quietness and offers ample room for both large plates and smaller items. Initially, I had intended to purchase a model with three racks, but I now feel that this spacious dishwasher was the wiser choice. I am thoroughly delighted with it.
Scott D –
I have no grievances with this dishwasher itself, and my review pertains solely to its performance. Like other users have noted, there was a noticeable plastic odor during the first 5-7 washes, but it dissipated entirely afterward. The unit performs as expected, effectively cleaning dishes, utensils, and more. While items are not dry immediately after a cycle, leaving them for a few hours resolves this issue. Installation was straightforward, though I had to purchase a hose extension kit—something worth double-checking in the specifications beforehand.
WqvDelta –
After replacing our dishwasher for the second time in just six years, I decided it was worth investing a bit more for a higher-quality model. I couldn’t be happier with our choice of the Bosch 300 Series. It performs far better than any dishwasher we’ve owned before, and I am thoroughly impressed with the exceptional quality of this unit.
Lawrence G –
The lower rack design is disappointingly inefficient, wasting a significant amount of space. It doesn’t accommodate baking pans along the sides or frying pans at the front, forcing me to stack them, which increases the risk of scratches. The angled prongs further restrict flexibility, making it challenging to arrange items as needed. In hindsight, I wish I had kept the lower rack from my previous dishwasher—it was far more practical.
Terry K –
The second rack offers ample space for plates, which is a great feature. The unit operates with impressive quietness and seals very tightly when closed. However, if we leave it for a few days before running a cycle, an unpleasant odor can develop, as we can’t run it every other day unless it’s full. Despite this minor issue, we are overall very pleased and satisfied with our new dishwasher.
Papadakis –
This is an excellent new dishwasher—quiet and spacious. The hidden controls are conveniently tucked away, though care is needed when closing the door to avoid accidentally pressing the start button, which then requires opening the door and canceling the cycle. The cleaning performance is outstanding, and I would happily recommend Bosch to others.
Kevin L –
I really appreciate most of the features of my dishwasher, but I do have concerns about the durability of the middle rack. I typically use it for coffee cups, cereal bowls, and glasses, yet it feels too fragile to comfortably support this load.
R8Storm –
I am disappointed with the flimsy construction of the upper rack, which feels less durable than expected. Additionally, the dishwasher’s noise level and its inability to thoroughly dry dishes, even when using the extra dry setting, fall short of my expectations. I anticipated better performance from Bosch.
Bellini –
This dishwasher is incredibly quieter than my previous one and delivers excellent cleaning results. I also appreciate the flexibility it offers with its adjustable settings, making it even more convenient to use.
Zerplix –
It looks fantastic and operates so quietly that we can hardly hear it. Every time we run a cycle, our dishes come out sparkling clean—and dry as well.
Braun –
Our old Bosch dishwasher had finally reached the end of its lifespan, so we replaced it with a Bosch 300 Series. The hidden controls are a nice upgrade, and it’s significantly quieter than the previous model.
Ralph N –
The dishwasher performs well and cleans effectively, but it’s not as quiet as I had hoped.
Z7Claw –
It’s user-friendly, quick, and operates quietly—everything you could want in a dishwasher.
