I’ve had my dishwasher for about a month now, and I’m really happy with it. It washes and dries everything really well. I love being able to pick settings and start the cycle right from the app on my phone. Plus, getting alerts when it’s time to refill the jet-dry or when a cycle is done has been super helpful. No problems so far!

Dishwashers really shouldn’t need internet access or an app to function, but this one does. The touch buttons on the machine don’t respond well, so you pretty much have to use the app to get it to work right. Plus, it takes around two hours for a cycle that actually cleans. The one-hour cycle just doesn’t do a good enough job.

I really love the rack placement and arrangements on this dishwasher; they’re similar to my old Bosch models but with some added adjustable options. The middle rack can easily be adjusted up or down to fit larger pots and pans, and the upper rack is perfect for those small, tricky items. I appreciate how consistent this one is with our last model, like the filter, jet placements, and rinse & soap dispensers. My previous Bosch lasted over 12 years, running at least twice a day for our busy family of five, tackling dirty pots, pans, and crusty plates. I’m hoping this one will be just as reliable. We’ve had it for almost a month now, and overall, we’re happy with our choice. I gave it a 4 out of 5 for a few reasons. The looks—got the white one—and it’s a bit plain on the outside. I also knocked a point off for the programming; the buttons aren’t very intuitive if you don’t want to use the app for managing cycles. Lastly, the middle rack wobbles a bit side-to-side, which was an issue with my old one too. I noticed Bosch reinforced the front wheels with a long plastic support this time, though. I had to replace all four wheels on my previous model gradually.

We’ve been using our Bosch SHS53CM2N white dishwasher for about a month and a half now, and it’s been fantastic! We absolutely love the mini “third rack” for cutlery and can’t imagine going back to a dishwasher without one. Bosch even gives you a cutlery basket, but we removed it and haven’t missed it at all. I only gave this dishwasher 4 stars instead of 5, and it’s not because of the machine itself—I’d love to give it 4.8 stars if I could! The buying process was a bit confusing with all the different series numbers (100/300/500/800). I think ours is a 300 series, but I’m not entirely sure. Plus, if you want a white dishwasher, you’ll find Bosch has pretty limited options. We ended up getting the model with the controls on top because that was what Costco had at the best price, but we would have preferred the controls on the front. Just a couple of small complaints: there’s a mechanism in the middle drawer to secure stemware, but our wine glass stems were too thick for the notches, so we took those holders out.

It may have shown some wear and tear, but it held up beautifully until the end. That’s quite a lifespan for a dishwasher in my opinion!
