The dishwasher cleans well, but I’m really disappointed with HomeConnect and Bosch support. The app is confusing and doesn’t let me select different cycles on our WiFi-enabled model. The control board doesn’t list a gentle cycle, and I can’t find one in the app either. I waited 45 minutes on hold with Bosch support for HomeConnect and finally gave up.

I’ve always preferred Bosch over other top brands, and I do like this model, but I really dislike that there’s no delay button on the panel—it forces you to use the Home Connect app. I also miss having a good old-fashioned manual instead of scanning QR codes and being sent to videos. For the price, they should definitely include a manual!

The Bosch 800 definitely gets everything clean, no doubt about it. I love that you can place plastic on any rack and that the second row is adjustable for taller items. However, I’m still figuring out the best way to load it efficiently. My bowls don’t fit on the second row like in the video, and there’s not enough space left for coffee cups and glassware. On the bright side, I actually ended up liking the third-level silverware rack more than I expected—no issues at all, and I never find food stuck to the spoons!
