The dishwasher boasts a sleek design and operates with a pleasing quietness. However, it struggles with drying plastic items effectively. Additionally, some fundamental functions, like the rinse cycle, can only be accessed through the Home Connect app, which I find to be an unwarranted complication.

Having replaced a venerable 20-year-old dishwasher with this new model, I am truly impressed. The appliance operates with remarkable silence and delivers excellent cleaning performance, complemented by a range of features including a mobile control app and various wash settings. I appreciate the top-mounted controls for their sleek design, though there are moments when I mistakenly believe the cycle has begun, only to see a blinking red light on the floor. This requires me to open the door and press the start button manually. Additionally, despite selecting the extra dry option, the top rack occasionally emerges still damp.

Initially, we had chosen a different dishwasher from a reputable brand, but unfortunately, the heating element failed within a day. We then opted for the Bosch model, and it has been a reliable performer since its installation over a month ago. It operates flawlessly, though occasionally, the dishes remain slightly damp at the end of the cycle—likely due to insufficient rinse aid. Aside from this minor issue, we have no complaints whatsoever.
