Truly, this is the finest dishwasher I’ve ever possessed—and I’ve owned quite a few! My only grievance is the lingering scent of plastic within the machine. Though I was assured it would fade after a few washes, even after completing my 14th cycle, the smell persists.

My only suggestions would be to include two silverware baskets, as I prefer not to use the third rack for silverware—it’s better suited for knives and larger utensils. Additionally, the tines are somewhat close together, which makes it a tight fit for our stoneware dinner plates. As a result, we can only use every other space. Nevertheless, Bosch remains the quietest dishwasher on the market, making it ideal for homes with open floor plans!

Its cleaning performance is outstanding. I particularly appreciate the silverware tray on the top, as it frees up ample space on the bottom for larger dishes.

We’ve had a 500 series for eight years, and it continues to run flawlessly. It did encounter a minor issue with the rollers, but Bosch swiftly sent us replacements for the damaged ones. When it came time to buy a new dishwasher for our recent home purchase, we naturally turned to Bosch once again. However, I must admit to a slight surprise at what seems like a decline in product quality, particularly with the drawers, despite opting for the 800 series. We remain hopeful that this new purchase will deliver the same level of excellence we’ve come to expect.
