I went with this dishwasher because Consumer Reports rated it as the best overall. Before this, I had a Miele that lasted 18 years. I’m not as impressed with this one since it doesn’t fit our dishes as well as the Miele did. The top rack is supposed to be for silverware, but whenever I close the door, the utensils get tossed around. That was my favorite feature on the Miele, so I’m bummed I can’t use it properly here. Now I have to put silverware in the basket at the bottom and use the top rack for big spoons and other utensils. It’s also not great at holding bowls. While it’s okay overall, I don’t love how it organizes the dishes. On the plus side, the display on the floor showing the remaining time is handy, and it’s super quiet—you can’t even hear it running, even if you’re in the kitchen. The interior light is a nice touch too. It cleans well, but I’m not thrilled with how the dishes are arranged.

You can stand right next to this dishwasher and still not hear a thing. It’s perfect for those open-concept spaces where you don’t want any noise!

This is the priciest appliance we’ve ever bought, but we wanted something super quiet with top-notch ratings. It really lives up to being “whisper quiet,” and the features cover just about everything you could need.

I’m really happy with it, and sometimes I even find myself looking for more dishes to wash just to use it!

However, one thing I miss is a clear indication that the cycle has finished when I open the door—other dishwashers I’ve used had a click or some sound. Also, the tines for holding the dishes don’t work great for bowls. They either knock into each other or sit flat, which isn’t the best use of space and might lead to chips. It does clean well, though. As for the WiFi, I can’t get it to connect, even though everything else in the house connects fine, but honestly, I think the WiFi feature is a bit unnecessary anyway.
