Our Bosch 800 series 18” dishwasher is hands-down amazing. A full-sized one would’ve been way too much for just the two of us, but this 18” model is spot-on for everyday needs. It holds everything—plates, glasses, even the pots and pans. We usually set it to run late at night so it doesn’t clash with other water use (our well refills pretty slowly). By morning, everything’s spotless and ready to go. It’s crazy quiet, too. Totally in love with it!

We’re absolutely thrilled with our Bosch dishwasher! It’s the perfect mix of compact and powerful, leaving everything sparkling clean. Plus, it’s super quiet, which was a big deal for us. The only downside? The cycles are a bit long—most take about 2 hours—but hey, it gets the job done!

We’ve had this dishwasher for about 5 weeks now, and so far, we’re pretty happy with it. The big pluses are how efficient it is—it uses just about 3 gallons of water on the Express setting and only takes 30 minutes, which does a decent job cleaning. For dishes that are more heavily soiled, we go with the Normal or Heavy settings, though they do take longer and use more water and energy. Another standout feature is how quiet it is compared to our old dishwasher; it’s so silent, it’s almost surprising to hear it running.
On the downside, we’re still unsure about the third and upper rack for silverware. It’s a neat idea, but it doesn’t always get the silverware perfectly clean, and it makes it tough to fit glasses on the middle rack. So, we’ve been putting glasses on the bottom rack, which isn’t the most space-efficient setup. Another issue we’ve noticed is a chemical/plastic smell at the end of the cycle. We tried a vinegar run to fix that, but it didn’t help much. We’re not sure if this smell is just a “new appliance” thing that will fade over time or if it’s something else. That said, we still think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks and hope it continues to serve us well for years to come.

We have the 18″ Bosch dishwasher with 3 storage racks. This is actually our second Bosch, even though the first one only lasted six years. One thing to watch out for is the water pump system, which is all plastic—avoid stacking plates in front of the water pump hole on the lower back left side. As for repairs, we wouldn’t recommend bothering. It’s hard to find someone who really knows how to fix these properly, and the costs just don’t seem worth it. Honestly, it’s frustrating how quality seems to be a thing of the past—it’s such a shame.

We bought the same model again because of how quiet it is, but we’re disappointed that the heater on our last one only lasted five years.
