I opted for the panel-ready version. Be aware that the panel’s height must be roughly two inches shorter than the surrounding cabinetry to allow the door to open properly. If the adjacent doors have raised panels, alignment will be compromised, leaving the base more exposed. The specifications lacked clarity, forcing me to reorder the panel. Additionally, the instructions for attaching the panel were vague (hence no pictures), as I have yet to decipher them. My plates, with their delicate rims, are too wide for the closely spaced tines on the rack. Nevertheless, the appliance performs admirably, delivering both thorough cleaning and remarkable quietness.

This dishwasher proved ideal for my condo renovation. It fit seamlessly into the space and, most impressively, operates in near silence!

The installation and custom panel instructions were thorough and easy to follow, leaving little room for confusion. My only minor critique lies with the drying system, which occasionally leaves items damp, particularly in Express mode. I suspect the omission of a heating element was a deliberate choice to conserve energy and space, simplifying electrical requirements and protecting plastic items—a trade-off that makes using JetDry or a similar product more essential.
The Wi-Fi setup, while convenient, can feel a bit daunting during a firmware update, especially when the machine displays all red lights and appears unresponsive for a few minutes. I nearly unplugged it out of concern but discovered that patience resolves the issue.
As for the custom panel, aligning its edges perfectly with the surrounding cabinetry proved somewhat tricky. I opted to leave a small, uniform gap rather than pursue seamless integration. While achieving a flawless finish might require precise trimming or adding false panels, I deemed it unnecessary, as the current appearance is still quite pleasing. Overall, I remain highly satisfied with this appliance.

I am generally content with our new Bosch 18″ dishwasher. Replacing an older model of the same size, I was relieved to find the installation straightforward, as the critical dimensions and connection points remained unchanged. The addition of a third tray for utensils is a welcome improvement, adding convenience to the design.
However, I do have one complaint: the lower rack lacks sufficient clearance in the center for standard-sized plates. The spinner arm strikes against plates positioned within its radius, limiting us to placing only three plates in suitable spots. This design quirk somewhat diminishes the otherwise positive experience.
Crimson –
This dishwasher runs with an almost imperceptible hum and delivers exceptional cleaning performance for everything we load into it. The top tray is a fantastic feature that adds both convenience and versatility. Highly recommended!
