I just got this KitchenAid three weeks ago, so it’s a bit early to fully judge. It’s my third one in three decades, and the others were solid, so I’m pretty loyal to the brand. This one is super quiet, which I love! My only issue is that the heat dry turns on automatically, and I have to uncheck it every time. I’m not sure if others will remember to do this. It works fine without the “Heat/Dry” option, though it would be great if the door popped open automatically once the wash is done, like some European models do.

It’s also incredibly quiet—I literally had to put my ear up to the door just to check if it was even running! I think it’s way better than the Bosch I had, and it’s made right here in the USA!

We just replaced our quiet 12-year-old dishwasher with this KitchenAid model. It’s super quiet, with just a small click that KitchenAid says is normal. It cleans really well, and I wasn’t sure about the top rack at first, but it’s been really useful and doesn’t get in the way. I also love the pull-out screen and chopper protector—so much easier to clean out debris compared to the old design. One thing we miss is the adjustable racks for different dish sizes. Also, be cautious with plastic lids on the top rack; one of ours melted, so we turned off the heated dry option. I’m also a little concerned about the side bolt downs since they don’t have caps, which could lead to moisture damaging wood cabinets over time. I’m thinking about adding a small bead of silicone around the plastic feed-through, which would have helped with the old model.

We were looking for a quiet dishwasher, and this one definitely delivers, plus it comes with a bunch of great features. It replaced a similar 39 dB KitchenAid model, and I honestly think once you’ve had a KitchenAid, it’s the only brand you’ll go for again. The cleaning performance is top-notch, and the racks and silverware caddy are super easy to load. This new model has the controls on the front, unlike the old one which had them on top of the door. I really prefer the front controls since you’re not racing against a 4-second countdown to close the door. We opted for the matte white finish, and it always looks spotless and smudge-free. And did I mention just how quiet it is?

One thing I’m not thrilled about is the bottom rack. The stems that hold the plates are too short, so the plates just fall over as soon as you slide the rack in. I really wish the stems were longer or had a little notch at the bottom to keep the plates upright. It’s something you don’t really notice until you start using it at home.

We have an open kitchen/living room, so a quiet dishwasher was a must, and this KitchenAid really delivers! It’s so quiet that it doesn’t interrupt conversations, music, or movie time. The third rack turned out to be surprisingly handy, too! Cleaning performance is fantastic, and we mostly use the normal setting. I knocked off one star because the middle rack layout causes some of our bowls to flop around, but overall, we’re really happy with how this dishwasher performs.

I bought this dishwasher to replace my old, which had a control panel issue. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a new one in bisque, so I had to go with a different model. Honestly, this new one isn’t as good as my 10-year-old machine. I kept my old silverware basket because the new design is just awkward—it doesn’t have enough space for larger pieces. The control panel is frustrating, too! I can’t turn off the 4-hour delay like I could with the old one. I have to cancel the cycle and reset it without the delay. Plus, it always starts in the pro wash mode instead of the last mode I used. There’s no china mode anymore, and the quick wash defaults to no heated dry, which is annoying. After every cycle, the door is still wet, so I have to leave it open to air dry. Also, the racks slide way too easily, and I’m still trying to get used to that.

We upgraded from a 30-year-old KitchenAid, and this new one is a huge improvement. It cleans and dries dishes amazingly well. Definitely recommend it!
