The color is pleasing to the eye, and its resistance to fingerprints is a blessing—especially with two children who seem unable to resist touching it. However, one aspect I wish I had been aware of beforehand is the extended time required for drying. I do find myself yearning for a heated drying option. If you decide to purchase this model, a good rinse aid will prove invaluable. Beyond that, it functions splendidly.

I had to replace my nearly five-year-old Whirlpool WDF5, which broke due to a pump motor issue—though that’s a story for another time. This new Samsung dishwasher is sleek and performs its job flawlessly. A notable change is that the bottom heating element is no longer visible or accessible, which is a nice touch. Additionally, the door opens automatically to help with venting, and you can adjust this default behavior if you prefer. The third rack is a nice feature, though I opted to remove it as it didn’t dry as effectively (I only tried it once). It’s better to adjust the main two racks without it. On the whole, it’s incredibly quiet—just the sound of water pouring. It even holds onto that “new car” scent for over a week. The 1-hour cycle works well, but I typically use the 2+ hour normal cycle. Overall, highly recommended—go ahead and get one!

The customer service experience was absolutely dreadful, and the third-party installation process (RXO) was a nightmare. I had to call customer service countless times with no resolution. Their third-party installers were unprofessional and even caused damage to my property. Don’t even bother trying to speak with a supervisor—they’re never available. A major issue is that they lack a US-based customer service team and don’t have enough licensed technicians, leading to long delays. Save yourself the trouble, time, and money—just stay away.
